New research out this month (June) has found that acupuncture with moxibustion is effective for relieving symptoms and inflammatory factors in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

Patients receiving acupuncture with moxibustion in this study found relief from clinical symptoms, more joint mobility, downregulation of inflammatory blood levels and restriction in the progression of rheumatoid arthritis.
